about

This solo violin improvisation is a contemplation of the Wandjina figure as it appears in aboriginal mythology. The violin solo played by Rupert Guenther is just one segment from the Horizon Lines Concert collaboratively featuring Rupert Guenther (violin) and Amos Roach (didgeridoo, click sticks, voice) in a musical contemplation of the ancient Kimberley region of northern Australia. Recorded live in concert by Radio 3MBS FM at Ochre Gallery Melbourne 2005. Another Rupert Guenther original inspired improvisation, all in one take, no overdubs.
