"Nordic Rain" is an improvisation for solo violin by Rupert Guenther from "The Invisible Architecture Of Compassion" concert on 12th November 2022 in the music auditorium at The School of Creative Arts in Wangara, Western Australia. The inspiration for this work using a fast and quite percussive playing style was the unique weather patterns, sunlight, cloud shapes, land and ancient myths and legends of the Nordic region of Europe.
As part of the 6-concert Tiny Concert Series, this second concert focuses on musical influences of old Europe, from the Asian Steppes through Eastern Europe to England...inspired improvisations spanning over 1,000 years of history, cultures, geography, politics, national music and the many branches of spirituality found across these lands and times.
Rupert is a composer, concert artist, spiritual teacher & mentor, promoting self-actualisation, new paradigm leadership and healing-based activism.
